Infrared Photon Stimulation Therapy

Infrared light therapy is a non-invasive healing therapy that facilitates healing on a cellular level. The energy of the light is immediately converted into cell energy (ATP). The cell uses this energy to produce rejuvenation (increases DNA and RNA activity).

Researchers are still performing studies on Infrared therapy and there are many studies that have made significant findings about the benefits of Infrared LED therapy. NASA has done research using LED or Infrared therapy and found many health benefits. The FDA has also approved it for treatments of several ailments from macular degeneration to diabetic peripheral neuropathy.

Cells over a small area can use up to 10 minutes of the light to produce ATP. If the cells are exposed to more than 10 minutes of light, there is no detrimental effect, but the treatment stops being affective. LED light produces little to no perceivable heat and is safe and effective for all skin types, has no side-effects, and is safe for all ages.

The LED therapy has been shown to help with many things including osteoarthritis, sports injuries, burns, scrapes, and pain relief from cuts, ulcers, fibromyalgia pains. It also prevents bruising and inflammation of a new injury, bunion pain, diabetic neuropathy, tendonitis, myofascial pain; minimizes recent nerve injury, and promotes wound healing (especially in diabetics). LED therapy also helps with bursitis, bone healing, bruises and inflammation, back pains. Finally, it is also recognized as a treatment for cellulite, wrinkles, aging, acne, age spots, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, poison ivy, and more.

There are many studies, including this one, that you can read for yourself if you are interested in learning more!
