RASA News:

New Payment and Cancellation Policies and More:
Again, the new payment and cancellation policies explained below are things we really would prefer not to institute, but unfortunately, we need to. We hope you understand that these changes protect us and allow us to continue to be available for you!
Beginning the 1st of August, RASA will be requiring a credit card on file to book an appointment– either by phone or online. Furthermore, our cancellation and “no-show” policies will change slightly:
  • If you cancel an appointment less than 3 hours in advance or “no-show,” the card on file will be charged the full price.
  • If you cancel between 24 hours and 3 hours before your appointment, the card on file will be charged for half the price of the service(s).
    However, cancellations in this category must be submitted between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.  (For example, if your appointment is for 9:00 or 10:00 on a Wednesday morning, you would need to notify us of the cancellation by 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.  If your appointment is for 11:00AM Wednesday, notifying us at 8:00 would be within the three-hour window.)
As we have in the past, we will still be understanding of emergency situations, so please communicate with us should something come up. 
 
Once this new policy is instituted, current clients will be asked to sign a new contract authorizing the card on file to be charged in the event of a late cancellation or a “no-show.” New clients will be required to sign the contract before their first appointment (most likely an online contract).

Erin at RASA:
Unfortunately for us, Erin’s schedule is just too busy for her to continue to be available at RASA right now. BUT– we are talking and hoping to collaborate on some new and exciting things in the future. In the meantime, should you need to contact Erin, you can reach her at 803-608-0558.
We want to continue to have someone available for you to see when Ashleigh is not available. We are pursuing a few leads on other therapists, but this may take a few months. We hope you are patient with us during this process, and of course, we hope you continue to seek out Erin when needed!

RASA does have a cancellation policy (copied below). Obviously you have no control if you wake up sick on the morning of your appointment. We are understanding of these and other situations that do occur; life does happen. As a friendly reminder though, we do ask that you let us know as soon as you can if you are going to be unable to make your appointment so that we may give that slot to someone else who needs to come and we don’t lose that income entirely. We also ask that you be aware of how often you are needing to cancel last minute. Please remember that our ability to be make accommodations and not charge is limited simply because we do need income to stay in operation.  We do, as always, very much appreciate your business and loyalty!

Upcoming New Services &/or Service Enhancements

Tok Sen:
While in Thailand, Ashleigh studied a technique while in Thailand called Tok Sen. It is performed with the tools pictured below. It is an ancient practice that is used to relax muscles, break up scar tissue, soothe the nervous system, and more. AND It creates a deep resonance throughout the body that make this technique truly special. The Thais talk about it as vibration therapy and it is used today in hospitals and medical facilities as well as at spas and traditional healing facilities. It comes from the northern Lanna tribes close to and around Chiang Mai. In the next few months, Ashleigh will be introducing this technique, which can be a stand alone treatment, used in conjunction with Thai massage, or added to an Integrated Massage. It’s a remarkable technique that you’re sure to enjoy!
Tui Na:
As if Ashleigh hasn’t been up to enough, she has also been studying at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine another ancient practice called Tui Na. It is Chinese Medical massage traditionally used in conjunction with Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology  and Traumatology, and other Chinese medical practices. This is another service that will soon be making its way into the repertoire of RASA.

This month is already looking very busy! Erin will be gone for a few weeks (she’s going to Australia!! Lucky duck!) and Ashleigh will be gone for a week for some extended family time! Finally!! There is an app available in the apple and android app stores to make requesting an appointment on the go WAY easier. So excited about this. (Now I’m just waiting for the app for your therapists to book on the go!!!)

Remember that Drawing from December?

The one from Facebook, where we were trying to get more likes so the page could get more traction? Well, we announced on to the winners on the 5th and posted to Facebook on the 9th. Booking and Rebooking

Reposting Again:  
Rebook Your Appointments Before You Leave or Book in Advance 
 
RASA’s schedule has been booking out up to three weeks in advance.  This is not a complaint, by any means. It’s wonderful!
This is a reminder that booking in advance is best!  Maintenance is the best way to keep up with your self-care.  So booking your next appointment before you leave will help to guarantee you an appointment when you need one and a help you stay ahead of whatever issues may arise.
That being said, of course sometimes things come up and you may need to get in before your next appointment.  Or maybe your schedule doesn’t allow for booking out several weeks at a time.  I totally get that.  So please keep checking in if you want to try to come in for an appointment when you don’t have one scheduled.  Things change and schedules shift… often.  There will always be a wait list for the week.

RASA and Your Appointments This Week
Today, we are obviously closed per the local government’s request to stay off the roads.  At last check, the studio does not have power, so the rest of the week’s appointments will be evaluated the evening before.

Booking and Rebooking

Rebook Your Appointments Before You Leave or Book in Advance 
 
RASA’s schedule has been booking out up to three weeks in advance.  This is not a complaint, by any means. It’s wonderful!
This is a reminder that booking in advance is best!  Maintenance is the best way to keep up with your self-care.  So booking your next appointment before you leave will help to guarantee you an appointment when you need one and a help you stay ahead of whatever issues may arise.
That being said, of course sometimes things come up and you may need to get in before your next appointment.  Or maybe your schedule doesn’t allow for booking out several weeks at a time.  I totally get that.  So please keep checking in if you want to try to come in for an appointment when you don’t have one scheduled.  Things change and schedules shift… often.  There will always be a wait list for the week.
Don’t forget you can visit the online booking request page to see what is available.  Also, as noted above, follow RASA on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with schedule openings.  The links are at the bottom of the page.

Gift Certificate: Gift certificates can be purchased for a dollar amount or for specific service(s).  Limit to gift certificate value is $500.  Custom Gift Baskets must contain at least 4 items (can include a Gift Certificate at discount).  Orders for Gift Baskets must be made my the 31st of October.  The baskets will be available for pickup as soon as they are ready, but no later than the 1st of December.
